We hear about copper theft all the time, and now an arrest.

John Roberts of Rush, Kentucky, was arrested Monday night by the Boyd County Sheriff's office.

And because of this one arrest, more are pending.

Police say Roberts admitted to deputies that he stole copper wire A.E.P. in the Paul Coffey Industrial Park.

Roberts also admitted he had stolen wire on other occasions.

Police said because of his cooperation, other arrests are expected.

Roberts is 20-years-old.

Copper theft is getting out of control, and to be honest, it just shows the ignorance of many in our region. So many don't want to work and want to take the "easy" way out.

Maybe the courts won't just slap him on the hand and give him a real punishment for what he has done...He needs to grow up and get a real job.

Each one of these losers who steals copper should be beaten with the stuff they steal. GO OUT AND GET A JOB INSTEAD OF BEING WORTHLESS DRUG ADDICTS WHO LEACH OFF OF SOCIETY.
