Robbery Reported at 7-Eleven in Nitro
Metro 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that a man has robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store in Nitro.

NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are on the scene of a robbery in Nitro.
Metro 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that a man walked into the 7-Eleven at the corner of 4th Street and 1st Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
No weapon was used during the robbery.
Dispatchers say the man got into a car and was last seen crossing the Nitro-St.Albans Bridge.
No one was hurt during the robbery.

first off i work there i know the girl that got robbed she hasnt been working there long and was probably scared.whats not in this little report is that he had his arm coverd in a jacket.and its company policy not to resist a roobery so before this guy goes shooting his mouth off he needs t know what he's talking about

No weapon used? If I owned the store, whoever was working there would most likely no longer have a job from me. Someone just walks in with no weapon and asked for money? The employee gives them the money? Is that what happened? If so ... they need to look and see if it was an inside job. If not, fire that employee. The person that committed the robbery should be in the hospital. If they were armed, they should no longer exist at all, if the employee would not have acted like a victim. However, the robber got away, that is pitiful.

I was crossing that bridge about that time and a car comming off the bridge from nitro to st.albans almost hit an ambulance that was going down rt 60 towards amandaville.It was a white car.
