HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Cabell County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people Wednesday night in connection with a purse snatched from an elderly woman at an area Walmart earlier this week.

Among the suspects arraigned in Cabell County Magistrate Court was Jacquline Jarrett.

Deputies say Jarrett ripped a purse away from a woman in her 80s at the Walmart along Route 60 in Huntington. That incident happened Monday.

On Wednesday, Jarrett was accused of stealing another purse at the same store. On Wednesday night, deputies spotted Jarrett and two alleged accomplices -- Stacy Thacker and Brandon Bennett -- at the Huntington Mall.

Jarrett faces first-degree robbery charges, while her accomplices face other charges. Deputies spotted the trio in a car that matched a description from witnesses.

There is a simple answer to these problems. It is contained in the laws that permit concealed carry. The permit process is fairly simple and (in spite of your lib friends who are anti gunners) crime actually goes down in states whose population depend on themselves for their own protection. Do not ask me to sit on a jury where one of these thugs was blown away by an 80 year old protecting herself from probable harm. I cannot get past the question, "have you formed any opinion concerning the instant case??" Your state allows concealed carry. Compare it to your American Express Card, do you want your wife or mother, or even your daughter to leave home without it??

So,listen up people.I was one of the victims that had their purses taken from me from that same wal-mart. All of the men and possible one woman involved are out of jail and has been since Christmas. One skipped bail.Do you really think that these guys are going to serve any time in jail either?Maybe a week two. Then they will get out on bail and then pay fee and that all she wrote and you will never see your purses again and well in these cases in my opinion crime at wal-mart does not count as any crime. You were just at the right place at the right time for the criminal's time.I guess if you had done something so bad in the past maybe you may serve a couple of months, but kiss you purse and as far as your fear to walk alone at wal-mart parking lot goes on route 60 in my opinion watch out!I have bad dreams and I have a great fear of people now and I don't trust any one person coming towards me at the parking lots at any store!I get real scared! No one cares. We weren't even warned by the new!
