BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- WSAZ and Bathfitters have joined forces to help people who are in desperate need of a new bathroom.
The votes are still being calculated and weighed according to contest rules rules.
Thursday, Nicole Howe of Barboursville told WSAZ.com why she hopes she is one of the finalists.
"It's very overwhelming," Howe said of her bathroom. "When I come in here I'm just depressed. The floor is rotting and I'm afraid I'm going to get in the tub and fall into the basement."
WSAZ will announce the five finalists Saturday. All 5 finalists will be at the WSAZ Home & Garden show Sunday at 3 pm for the announcement of the winner.

Who won the contest ???
When Bathfitters installs the new bath tub over the old ones, is the mold and mildew still there? Or do they gut everything out first? I'd be embaraced to win this contest.
I thought ugly meant ugly, not NASTY! After watching HGTV, hiding mold, mildew and anything else behind the walls of a coverup is not a good idea. Fast, yes, but definitely not safe.
