DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- While investigating a child pornography complaint, deputies in Kanawha County found thousands of dollars worth of marijuana.

Members of the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation searched a home on Dutch Hollow Road in Dunbar. They found an indoor marijuana growing system and several plants with a street value of $8,000.

19-year-old Curtis Feezel was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana.

The child pornography arrest is still under investigation.

UNLAWFUL SEARCH AND SEIZURE. This Herb charge will be dropped, unless they were actually looking for the herb and had a WARRANT for the Herb, then the found pot is unlawful. Some states are different, but in mine this would be dropped (and I live in the bible belt. ATTN: To the people who say this leads to "harder drugs" what do you classify by that? Alcohol is a much harder drug than Marijuana and I tried that first in life. That is the GATEWAY = Alcohol!!! One must EDUCATE themselves before they just ASSUME. Marijuana is harmless in 98% of cases, however, I do feel that some should just not smoke it, some make it seem worse than it is, but you get that handful of people in anything.

I've been Curtis Feezel's friend since he was a kid, and I can personally assure everyone that there wasn't any child pornography. Also, he only had an internet connection for less than 30 days prior to it getting the XP virus. For the last two weeks he didn't even have a working computer or internet connection. And the plants that they found were each only about an inch tall, they had just sprouted! They were growing out of microwaveable mac and cheese containers. He had a small lamp and a tiny fan set on them. Plus there were only four plants. They're advertising this as a "farm"! Claiming that those plants are worth $8000 is absurd. If thats the case there must be over $500,000 growing wild in Kanawha State Forest. They have completely blown this out of proportion and now he'll have "child porn" associated with his name. He had no previous offenses for anything. Curtis is respected and loved by those who know him, and is an extremely talented musician and a well educated individual

Well you obviously haven't been through Dutch Hollow and don't know what you are talking about. There are other residents on this road than those living in the apartments. Drugs are found everywhere. Even the most prestigeous neighborhoods. Get over yourself. btw, I live on Dutch Hollow Road and have been employed for 26 years.
