CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A bill aimed at offering women seeking abortions a guaranteed chance to view an ultrasound image is heading to Gov. Joe Manchin.

The state Senate unanimously approved the bill Saturday. The measure was approved a day earlier by the House of Delegates in an 80-17 vote after an hour of floor speeches.

The bill would require doctors to offer women a chance to see fetal ultrasound images before having an abortion if the ultrasound images are medically necessary. Women would have to acknowledge the offer in writing.

The House modified the bill to remove criminal penalties for doctors who fail to comply with the Women's Right to Know Act, which requires them to provide certain types of information to women seeking abortions.

Is it just me or is "anonymous" actually making the statement that these young mothers would rather abort (kill) their unborn baby rather than have it taken by CPS and given to a family that can raise it? Just shows how convoluted their logic is.

If this article is important to you please be awre of the current HC Bill in Washingotn, DC. The bill approved by the Senate (H.R. 3590), has serious flaws on abortion and conscience rights. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR Congressman NOW. Arms are being twitsed as you read this to pass the strongest Pro-Abortion and dangerous to Elderly Legislation ever proposed.

Anonymous , Sounds like you have a personal issue with this. Use birth control or dont sleep around. This way you dont have to give away or kill another baby.
