i live in hernshaw and drive a coal truck , if you would set along the road where all these red lights r at you would see that they are not timed for large trucks to stop, the only light thats is, is at the mouth of cabin creek. i dont condone unsafe driving but from experience most of these trucks arent going as fast as they look and sound. this accident was just stupid driving. and for people like patrick, let him set in the dark and no internet and see how fast he starts pushing for more coal and coal trucks. dont set back and complain until you know all the facts about coal trucks. its easy to set and listen and watch the news, and hear what they think they know. the people bring you the news are like car salespersons they can make anything sound believable.
here we go on the dust off coal trucks, blah blah blah... What about the young punks who has NO exaust on their vehicles, what about the speeders who thinks they are above the law that travels in that area? what about the ones in suits who is late for a meeting, or searching for service on their cells? There is tons of other people out there drives dangerous, not just the coal trucks, this just gives u a reason to gripe and complain... There is also build up of sand, dirt, and broken down salt on the sides of the roads too, that causes a lot of dust when trucks pass it, it blows everywhere, BUT yet you still say its ALL coal.. GO FIGURE! do some research before you throw stones mr glass house.
I have been driving a Schoolbus for 22 yrs.I have more problems with people in their cars running my Bus lights then I do any Coal Truck.People when those yellow lights are on that means I'm going to stop not for you to go faster so you can beat the lights 7 maybe kill a child.THANKS TO ALL YOU COAL TRUCK DRIVERS THAT REALIZE THAT.
