Unemployment Rate Tops 11 Percent in West Virginia
West Virginia's unemployment rate topped 11 percent in February as the number of jobless residents increased by 5,000.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia's unemployment rate topped 11 percent in February as the number of jobless residents increased by 5,000.
Workforce West Virginia said Monday that February's 11 percent rate was nearly six-tenths of a percentage point higher than January's rate.
The number of unemployed state residents rose to 86,400 last month. Total unemployment was up 25,400 over last year.
The state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased by three-tenths of a percentage point to 9.5 percent. The national rate remained at 9.7 percent.

stop dissing obama. sure, he promised change. Change takes a long time. If anything is anyone's fault, it's George Bush jr's. You're all saying that a republican will fix this, but Bush jr, being the most recent republican, did nothing about it, but had time to start a false alarm war. Change will come. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even this year, but change will come.

I read some of the comments that are on here and it makes me wonder. Why do the people of this country keep blaming each other..This is not something that any one person caused, it has been happening for many years. I did not vote for George Bush Jr nor did I vote for Obama. Even if I had, it is still not all their fault..The things that are going on now are fulfilling the prophecy of GOD. You want to know what is going to happen next READ your BIBLE it is all there. ALL the different weather patterns are changing. It is GOD's way of telling us we better be ready. So YOU better be prepared.
