Route 94 Re-Opens After Coal Truck Accident
Route 94 is now back open to traffic after a coal truck accident.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Route 94 is now back open to traffic after a coal truck accident.
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- For a second day in a row, Route 94 in Hernshaw is closed after a coal truck accident.
The latest accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on Bryant Drive.
Emergency crews tell WSAZ.com the driver of the coal truck was traveling north on Route 94 about a mile from interstate when the truck overturned.
The driver was not hurt.
Route 94 is expected to be closed for at least an hour.
This accident is just about a mile and a half from Monday morning's accident that shut down Route 94 for several hours. That crash involved two coal trucks. No one was hurt.

i know this driver and he is about one of the safest drivers that i have ever worked with, Kathi some people just dont have anything else better to do then bad mouth coal truck drivers, they need to turn the power off , so no one has to listen to them complain about stuff they have no clue about except what the news tells them coal truck driver

That was my husband that wrecked..It was a spring that broke..not his fault..he is a gd and safe driver..hes has drove for 12yrs..there is some that may not be a semi driver but not all is dumb..so before u slam coal truck drivers go ride in one and then u will see what they go there just to get heat into ur homes..i pray every morning when he leaves that he returns just because car drivers are the dumb one out there..i have rode in one and it is scary..he puts his life on the line every day ..so dont slam alll the coal truck drivers till u have rode in one and understand what all that this big machine can and cant do on a dime...and yes i almost lost him not over his driven but the danger that can go wrong with the truck thats not the drivers fault...so please stop throwing stone until u know what u r talking about...wife of a coal truck driver...

Rt. 94 is a death-trap. So many people have lost their lives and many of them have been from the LEGALLY over-loaded coal trucks!! The drivers should know how many trucks have overturned in that curve and slow way down. Something needs to be done.
