PALM HARBOR, Fla. (AP) - Tiger Woods will return to golf at the Masters next month.

In a statement Tuesday, Woods said he will play at Augusta National after a four-month hiatus because of a sex scandal.

The Masters begins on April 8.

Woods says that while he's returning to competition, he still has a lot of work to do in this personal life.

He last played Nov. 15 when he won the Australian Masters. Less than two weeks later, he crashed his car into a tree outside his Florida home, setting off revelations that he had been cheating on his wife.

wsaz has refused to two times already to post my response to this. My point is, people have made this guy a billionaire and there is probably nothing on the planet less important than some guy playing golf. I'm at a loss as to why people are so infatuated with this guy, even wanting to know his personal life. I honestly could not care less what he does or if he plays golf. But if you insist on worshippoing golfers and making them mega millionaires, has everyone forgotten the names Jack Niclaus or Arnold Palmer or Lee Trevino? It's funny how the media never embraced them like they do this guy isn't it.

Why are we following this mans personal issues? I wonder if it is because the owners of big media are trying to find out if the multi-million dollar investments they have made with this sports figure are going to pan out. They have so much money invested, they have to keep in in the spotlight.

Come on please! I'm sure he isn't the first to do this in the golfing world. The media needs to stick to the news this isn't news! I am so tired of hearing about peoples personal lives. It is none of any ones business. I think it is embarrassing as a nation that all it has better to do is to talk about the sex lives of other people. Who cares! Wake up America.
