KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A car hit a house in Glasgow on Friday, but no one was hurt.

It happened just after 11:00 a.m. Friday at 119 Tompkins Avenue in Glasgow.

The 83-year-old driver tells WSAZ.com he was trying to back out of his driveway when he had a sugar attack and his foot got stuck on the gas pedal.

The car hit a fence and went down an alley before it hit a nearby house.

The driver says he flipped over a 4-wheeler to avoid the house, but it didn't work.

Glasgow Police tell WSAZ.com the driver traveled 375 feet in reverse before the car stopped.

The car damaged a trailer, fence and a house.

Police say the driver was cited for failure to maintain control.

We have a crew at the scene. Keep clicking on WSAZ.com for the very latest information.

How could he tell them he was OK if he was having an attack. Just to old to be driving.

Guess the mayor will cover up this ticket, since its one of his buddies.

I know this man and he should not be driving, I have seen him driving and all most wipe out cars that are parked on the street. He needs to be off the road.
