UPDATE: Couple Dead After Apparent Murder-Suicide
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is investigating a murder-suicide.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The man deputies believe shot his wife before turning the gun on himself has died from his injuries.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department says Leonard Hicks died at CAMC General Hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the head Friday night.
Friends tell WSAZ.com that Hicks was on life support before he passed away Saturday afternoon.
Leonard's brother-in-law, Chris Shinaunt, said he never saw this coming.
"I knew they were having a little bit of trouble, but I didn't think it was this serious. I can't believe Leonard would do this."
Annetta worked at Lens Crafters as a Lab Technician for 17 years. Richa Nelson, co-worker, says she was working alongside of Annetta just an hour before she was shot by her husband.
Richa says Annetta had told freinds the couple was considering a divorce, but she says "we had no idea this was a possibility, a remote possibility at all."
The couple leaves behind two children, 17 and 19 -year-old boys.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department believes a shooting late Friday night was an attempted murder-suicide.
Deputies responded to a home on Spring Fork Drive in the Cambells Creek area around 10:30 p.m.
They found Annetta Hicks,39, dead inside the house. She suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Her husband, Leonard, suffered a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Leonard Hicks remains in the hospital on life support.
Deputies say evidence and information from witnesses indicates that this was a murder-suicide attempt.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers in Kanawha County say a shooting in Campbell's Creek has killed one person and sent another to the hospital.
A family member on the scene says a male and female were involved. The family member says the two were in a relationship, and had been having problems recently. The female has died, and the male was taken to the hospital.
The identity of the people involved has not been released at this time. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department says they have just started their investigation, and should have more information to release Saturday morning.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- At least one person has been shot to death late Friday night in the Campbell's Creek area, Metro 911 dispatchers say.
They say the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. Friday along Springfork Drive in Campbell's Creek, and it appears to be an attempted murder-suicide.
Dispatchers say one person has died, but the other was still alive shortly before 11 p.m.

I am good friends with Charles and i knew lee and netta and i think what has happened is very sad and unfortunate and i will stay on my BIBLE THUMPING HIGH HORSE and say that they were all chuch goers and they were both always nice to me i loved them and am very sad that it has happend. I did not know this couple, but my heart is broken 4 what this family has 2 face. I cannot conceive anyone leaving hurtful comments....my brother committed suicide last yr., & 5 mo. later my husband drowned. I am still grieving. My purpose in sharing in this is 2 let this family know that you are absolutely in my thoughts & prayers & I wish I could ease your pain & suffering somehow. I make it through each day by leaning on The Lord & staying in church. God can help you all through this terrible tragedy. It is human 2 grieve & it is a process....surround yourselves w/ positive people & if you are not saved, please consider giving your life 2 the Lord. I am SO very sorry 4 your loss. God bless you.
