FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky House Speaker Greg Stumbo says budget negotiators are making progress in trying to reach agreement on a state spending plan for the next two years.

House and Senate conferees wrapped up a fourth day of closed-door negotiations Saturday. They plan to return to the bargaining table Sunday afternoon.

Stumbo told reporters that the negotiators are making progress on "all fronts" but offered no details. He said some proposals will be drafted for presentation on Sunday.

Senate Majority Floor Leader Robert Stivers also said the lawmakers are looking at different options in trying to resolve differences.
