It’s not stopping traffic, but a billboard in Charleston is arguably creating conversation.

It's a message said to be from God, asking voters in Kanawha County to say "no" to table games on August 11.

That's when voters will cast their ballots in what some are clearly making a religious race. According to Kanawha Valley Advertising, this billboard was paid by a private investor.

Gambling is a sin, but for some reason everyone is forgetting that. You can say it is ok to gamble, but you know that it is wrong. Just because something is legal does not make it right.

No ONE should ever put words in God's mouth....

Come on, did God really tell that person to rent the advertising space. I consider myself as a Christian, I think the person who did this should be ashamed of themselves for using God's name in such text. This is just a weak attempt to get publicity and guess what... it worked. Vote yes Kanawha County. God gives us the ability to make our own decisions, so if you don't support this election, don't visit the facility. Likewise, if you support it, let your vote be counted.

The Bible says there will be false prophets who claim to speak to God and who will give false prophecies and speak for the Lord when in fact it is blasphemy. Could this be an instance of the Bible being right?

High five for Traci!!! I couldn't agree more. I just wish someone would tell me why these people think they have to put a religious spin on everything.

I enjoy playing and paying for BINGO once a week at my church. I tried to talk with my priest last week but he was busy "trying to draw an inside straight." What will table games do to my church? Opinions please?

I have to agree with Traci. I would like to know who would be brave enough to forge God's name on a billboard. Is it the same person who made the billboard with satan's supposed signature? I can't wait til the vote is over. Some on both sides are acting like immature 5 year olds. Has anyone got a look at the "grim reaper" holding the vote no sign in the shape of a tombstone? Give me a break!

I'm extremely curious to know to whom God directly made this quote, and who felt they were worthy enough to put these words of God on a billboard. Did God send an email, drop him a fed-ex or what? Did God also advise him/her to rent this billboard space? I certainly would not want to attempt to explain at the gate why I falsely quoted God to promote my personal postition against the community's growth.

I would vote "YES" because it will provide more job opportunities for the people who really need the money to support their families.
