KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One company is celebrating a quarter century of a novel idea: combining ice cream with candy.
You may have seen commercials for Dairy Queen's Blizzardmobile.
The promotional bus is on a 25-city tour across the country passing out free samples of their famous treat.
Sunday morning they were at Power Park in Charleston for the Marshall baseball game.
Along with free ice cream they also had games and prizes.
It's all part of the 25th birthday celebration of the blizzard.
The Blizzardmobile made a short trip down I-64 to St. Albans Sunday afternoon where an excited crowd eagerly awaited their free cups.
The town was selected as one of the bus's stops on an online poll.
If you missed the bus Sunday you can catch it Monday. The Blizzardmobile will be back at Power Park for the Power baseball game. The first thousand people who show up will get a free blizzard.
