PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Three people were arrested after police say they robbed a jewelry store.
Prestonsburg Police say a glass display case full of gold chains was stolen from Castles Jewelry Tuesday afternoon.
While searching the area, police say they found the getaway car, which had the jewelry case inside.
They caught 21-year-old Robbie Ward and 22-year-old Zachary Blair after a foot chase. 19-year-old Laura Lewis was found several blocks away on her cell phone, trying to get a ride. All were arrested and taken to the Floyd County Detention Center.
Police say the three were unarmed, but had planned the robbery ahead of time.
The jewelry case has been returned to Castles Jewelry.

Whew, good thing this didn't happen in Huntington, they would still be on the loose with our 3 time bank robber. Good job Prestonsburg Police!! Grats!
Anyone else and the jewelry case would be in police custody as evidence. But the wealthy can get their stuff back just like that. Our justice system is a joke.
