Sheriff's Deputies in Greenup County found 77 pot plants growing near State Route 784 near Three Prong Road. They destroyed the plants Saturday.
Now the search is on for the owner. Deputies say they have not been able to locate the person yet. They do say the plants were well- maintained.
The summer months are peak for marijuana growing season and police searches for the illegal drug.
