ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A great day to hit the road on a motorcycle, was also a great opportunity to raise money for Alzheimer's research.
The St. Albans Moose Lodge hosted a charity poker run Saturday afternoon.
The event is a chance to help out the nearly 48,000 West Virginians that suffer from the disease.
It's an effort the local Alzheimer's association appreciates.
"We don't have that many people that are coming out in the community to offer to have a third party fundraiser for us," Barbara Wilson with the Alzheimer's Association said. "We just think it's absolutely wonderful what they are doing."
More than 100 bikers took part.
