KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple was arrested during the weekend at Smiley's Motel in Jefferson and accused of operating a methamphetamine lab.
Donald Messer and Angela Turley were arrested and charged with operating a meth lab. State police say they were called to the motel about a tip that a meth lab was in the room.
When they arrived on Saturday, they found large amounts of materials needed to make meth.

Amen, Tom... I wanna see the fallout. What's it all lead to?? What does the judge have to say? I'm sure the law allows for a relatively stiff penalty. Will you assign it to them?? Why not??

They will be out on bond in a week or two. Then it will be a year before any punishment is given out. These meth lab cases are a joke. The news reports on them getting busted so everyone is like good job to the police, only to find out they are back on the street the next week. Here is an idea WSAZ how about doing followups with these cases to show people how the legal system really works.
