GRAYSON, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The importance of spaying and neutering pets was reinforced this weekend in Carter County, Kentucky.
Local vets got together to host a low-cost spay and neuter clinic.
Dozens of people turned out to take advantage of the service.
It provided an easy way for pet owners to help cut-down on the pet population, without putting a huge dent in their wallets.
The group plans to host another clinic in September.
Cutting down on the pet population means less pets for shelters to take in and less pets that will be put to sleep.

Are you allowed to post email in the comments section...? Anyone who is interested in future clinics, becoming a part of animal rescue or bringing an animal to a low cost spay neuter clinic can post here. If I'm allowed to post a contact email I will. Until then keep posting here so others can see how much of an interest there is in the region. Thanks!
