Indoor Football League Returning to Huntington
The UIFL team will play seven regular season home games at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, according to a news release.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) --The Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) has awarded Huntington an expansion franchise for the 2011 season.
The team will play seven regular season home games at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, according to a news release.

“SMG is excited to bring back arena football to the City of Huntington and Big Sandy Superstore Arena. The UIFL is a great opportunity for us to offer fun, family entertainment at an affordable price to the entire Tri-State area” A.J. Boleski General Manager of the Big Sandy Superstore Arena stated on Monday.
A press conference will be held at a later date to formally announce the team, logo, ownership group, ticket pricing, and more
UIFL Co-Founder Michael Taylor stated, "AJ and SMG has been great to work with, and we both share the same enthusiasm to make the UIFL work in Huntington. The UIFL business model was created to help keep cost down for team owners, so they can be in business for long term success. We strive to be the most fan friendly professional sports league in the country."
Johnstown, Pa. was also awarded an expansion franchise for the 2011 season.

i'm looking forward to it. we drove up from pikeville kentucky a couple times before to see games. it's good fun for families and not priced outrageously.
