Fire Damages Charleston Home
A fire damaged a home in Charleston Friday morning.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A fire damaged a home in Charleston Friday morning.

The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. along Lee Street east.

Firefighters tell WSAZ.com the homeowner was downstairs cleaning a paint brush when he heard popping noises coming from the attic of the house.

He went to get a neighbor to help him find the problem when he saw smoke pouring from the home and called 911.

Firefighters are still looking for the cause of the fire.

No one was hurt.
