Ashland, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Kentucky State Police have filed additional charges against Jeff Meade, Jr.
On Monday, Meade was charged with sodomy, sexual abuse and promoting sexual performance of a minor.
The charges are a result of the continued investigation into the events that occurred on Friday when Meade was arrested.
Meade was arrested following a four hour manhunt that ended near Wurtland, Ky.
Investigators say troopers were looking for Meade after he allegedly got into a physical altercation with another man in Greenup County.
KSP says that incident also involved a firearm.

WURTLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A convicted felon and sex offender who was on the run for about four hours Friday night has been caught.
Kentucky State Police arrested Jeff Meade Junior.
He is from Louisville, and was arrested in Wurtland.
Police say Meade was fighting with another man, and when a gun was pulled, he took off.
Meade is charged with wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He's also facing a charge for not following the sex offender registry rules.

I really do wish that people like Jeff would get life and stay there, its not right for moms and dads to worry if the person down the road will harm their child, children cant go out and play like we use to, now they have to be watched all the time. For those who go through things like this I am deeply sorry and know that I am praying for you.
