GUYANDOTTE, W.Va (WSAZ) -- No one was hurt in a smokey house fire, but firefighters are treating it as "suspicious."
The fire started about 2:15 Sunday afternoon on Hill View Road in Guyandotte.
Two women rent the house, and neither were home at the time of the fire, so no one was hurt. However, one of the residents says everything she owns was inside the home, and it's all gone now.
Huntington Fire Chief Creig Moore says the fire is suspicious in nature and is under investigation. Right now, they aren't sure what started the fire.
At one point, firefighters had to evacuate the home because they were afraid the roof would collapse. They're now working to calm the smoke from the outside the home.

TO SILLA: YES YOU ARE RIGHT BUT WHY DID THE HOME GET SET ON FIRE? I AM SURE THE HOUSE WASN'T RANDOMLY PICKED OUT OF ALL THE HOMES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.SOMEONE STAYING OR LIVING THERE KNOWS WHY THE HOUSE WAS SET ON FIRE. AND YES IT IS BOUT THE DRUGS AND PARTYING. WHEN YOU ALLOW PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME THAT OUR ADDICTS YOU ASKING TO GET ROBBED OR SOMETHING BAD TO HAPPEN!WHEN YOU RUN WITH TROUBLE YOU BRING TROUBLE TO YOUR HOME
why is everyone conserned about the drugs. this isnt about a drug house. this is about somebodys home being set on fire. and everything i had & all my belongings are gone.
I WOULD NEVER WISH A HOUSE FIRE ON ANYONE. BUT WHEN YOU ALLOW YOUR HOUSE TO BE A DRUG AND PARTY HOUSE. WITH ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE RUNNING IN AND OUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE WHO FREQUENTED THE HOUSE. THE SAD PART OF THIS IS NOW THESE GIRLS HAVE LOST EVERYTHING AND HOPEFULLY ARE THINKING BOUT WHAT CHANGES THEY NEED TO MAKE IN THEIR LIVES.
