CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A Yeager Airport official says Delta Airlines is discontinuing a daily flight between Charleston and Cincinnati in September.
Airport Director Rick Atkinson says Delta also plans to add a round-trip flight between Charleston and Detroit, giving the airport three daily trips to the Motor City. Yeager had three daily flights to Detroit until 2008, when it was cut to two.
Atkinson says the dropped flight to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport marks the first time in more than 25 years that there won't be a direct flight between Charleston and Cincinnati.
