BELPRE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A fight at a high school graduation party led to the stabbing death of a 19-year-old graduate early Sunday.
The Marietta Times reports the party happened in Belpre, which is in Washington County.
One of the teens in attendance was Lamarr Wilder who just graduated from Federal Hocking High School.
The Washington County sheriff told The Marietta Times that several teens were fighting when Wilder was stabbed. The 17-year-old boy who had the knife says he stabbed in self defense. He hasn't been charged in connection with the stabbing.
The Marietta Times also reports that James and Shenandoah Walraven, who are the parents of the teen who was having the party, may soon be facing charges for providing alcohol at the party.

I didn't know him but this is very sad my prayer go out to his family and friends. i am so sorry for you lose.
Lamarr was a great boy, he could always make you laugh on your worst days. He was someone you could goto when you had a problem without being judged. Beyond that, NOT ALL TEENS DRINK! Im 19 and have high expectations for myself Don't think that all the kids out there drink or do drugs for that matter. Lamarr will be missed and he will never be forgotten. Love you Lamarr Rafeal Wilder
Lamar's family and friends please remember the good times and the life this young man lived that is his legacy. I also will be praying for the young man he did the stabbing that is something awful to have to carry with you. May God be with you all. Hopefully justice will prevail.
