ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A conversation over concrete work took a violent turn Saturday evening, when one man was dragged by a pick-up truck and then run over.
Boyd County Sheriff's Deputies say about 8 Saturday night, they were called to the ALDI parking lot on Russell Road in Ashland.
Witnesses told deputies that Nicholas Brown, 28, walked up to two men who were sitting in a black Chevy truck. The men were talking about some concrete work that Brown had done.
Witnesses say the truck then sped off, dragging Brown behind the vehicle for a short distance. Then, the truck ran over Brown and left the scene.
Brown was flown to the hospital.
Deputies say they know the names of the men who were in the truck, and charges are pending.

nick is my uncle and i love him and my family and i hope he is ok when i seen this i almost cried
Any updates? I'd love to know if some arrests have been made!
My prayers are with the family. I can't imagine. Regardless of circumstances surrounding the situation, this is tragic and I can't imagine how scary it must have been. I hope his recovery is speedy and I'd like to know if they've arrested the people who did this to him. Anyone have any updates? This is the kind of stuff that makes ya just wanna stay inside forever and never go out in public. I just can't imagine coming upon that scene, let alone being a victim of someone so heartless as to run me down and just LEAVE me there. I hope justice is served and the perpetrators of the crime get hard time.
