SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A handful of Ohio State Highway Troopers have spent the past five days focusing their efforts on getting drugs off the streets.

In that time, they made three large drug seizures, thanks in part to their canine, Marco.

On June 14, Troopers stopped a car that was on its way from Dayton to Portsmouth. After a search, they found 28 grams of cocaine that was hidden in the driver's pants.

Driver Chantele Davis, of Portsmouth, and passenger Lachuanse Dickerson, of Dayton, have been charged with drug trafficking in the presence of a juvenile and possession of cocaine.

On June 17, Troopers stopped a car that was on its way to Huntington from Lincoln Park, Michigan. When the car was searched, troopers found about one pound of marijuana that was hidden in the car's engine compartment.

The car was being driven by Earl Adkins, of Lincoln Mark, Michigan. Adkins is charged with possession of marijuana.

On June 18, Troopers pulled over a car that was traveling to Huntington from Detroit. When the car was searched, troopers found a vacuum sealed bag of prescription pills and marijuana under the center console. Inside the bag were 90 Oxycontin, 115 Xanax, 171 Alprazalom, 90 Hydrocodone pills and about 28 grams of high grade marijuana.

Devan Mattox, of Detroit, was driving the car. Isaac Sadler, of Canton, Michigan and Jordan Anderson, of Huntington, were passengers. All three are charged with drug possession and drug trafficking.

In addition to these three large seizures, troopers also handed out three charges for possession of marijuana and three charges for possession of a controlled substance. Six warrants were served and one stolen car was found.

Good job, Troopers! Take that trash off the streets and put a stop to the drug pipeline. I just wish they would do something about the drug pushers here on the Westside now. Too many druggies and dealers to count.... Also, why is it that everyone wants to make it something racial when they are pulled over? My husband and I are your typical white 40-something couple and we have been followed closely by the Troopers and County on more than a few occassions. Sometimes we have to go to Columbus to get hubby's kids from their mother so you can imagine how that looks. Besides, she is a drug user but they have done nothing about it and the courts still put the kids in her care!! What a bunch of idiots! We are terrified that something will happen to his kids on a weekend visit with bio-mom but there is nothing we can do thanks to the Scioto Co. Domestic Court. Troopers, keep doing what you do, maybe you will catch bio-mom and help our case.

No, i believe the word that ur looking for in your extremely poor worded comment would be PROFILED not "ENTRAPTMENT" Entrapment is where the police set u up to commit a crime that you would have not normally committed had it not been for the police's presentment of a situation / materials etc that you would have not come across on your own.
