UPDATE: Car Forced Off the Road and Into Building
Charleston Police say a car ran off the road and into the American Legion Building.

UPDATE: Thursday, 6/24 8.30 p.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police say a car ran off the road and into the American Legion Building.
Police say the driver of a blue pick up truck was traveling down 7th Avenue in Charleston around 7:45pm Thursday.
That is when he sideswiped a blue car forcing it off the road and into the American Legion.
There was some extensive damage to the car. The building only suffered minor damage.
The woman driving the car had to be taken to the hospital with what firefighters believe are minor injuries.
The driver of the blue truck took off after the accident. If you know who the driver is you are asked to call Charleston police.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are at the American Legion in Charleston after a car crashed into the building.
The accident happened around 7:45pm Thursday. The American Legion is located in the 1700 block of 7th Avenue.
No word on if anyone has been hurt in the accident.

Boy, wouldn't be a shame if they had to tear that building down? NOT!!!!!! If they tore it down, I wouldn't be so scared driving by that location! As it is now, I am afraid of being shot or someone walking out in front of me and expecting me to stop. Which by the way I do not do! I might swerve to avoid hitting them but I DO NOT STOP!!!
I hope all will be well with your grandmother and I really hope they catch the guy that did this. What a lowlife.
