Community Celebrates 100 Years Together
The community of Alum Creek celebrated it's 100th birthday Saturday.

ALUM CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One community has plenty to celebrate now that they've been going strong for a century.
The community of Alum Creek celebrated it's 100th birthday Saturday.
A parade kicked things off in the morning, followed by a slew of awards and recognitions throughout the day.
Resident Eddie Belcher says, "The people are so bonded and united, it's just like a family atmosphere throughout the community."
The Centennial celebration continues Sunday with a community gospel sing at 2 p.m.
