UPDATE: Gas Leak Forces Residents From Their Homes, Now Allowed to Return
About 10 or 15 homes are being evacuated because of a gas leak in Boone County.

UPDATE @ 8:30 p.m.
BRICKTOWN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers say the leak has been fixed and the families who were evacuated have since been allowed to go back home.

No injuries were reported.



ORIGINAL STORY
BRICKTOWN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- About 10 or 15 homes are being evacuated because of a gas leak in Boone County.

Dispatchers say a gas line broke in the Bricktown area just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday. They say the right fork of Fork Creek Road has been evacuated.

No other information about the gas leak is available at this time.
