HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) --The West Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the westbound lanes of US 60 (Washington Avenue) in Huntington's West End will be closed at 9th Street West.
This comes after a recent fire at the Big Eagle Building.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes as a detour during this closure.

Where is MATT on this story? I'm sure this builing was texting or talking on a cell phone before it caught fire, or maybe it was using drugs and alcohol.
I am a little confused on the fire because it seems that there was a fire there yesterday around 8pm and I believe it was the apartment building and then I am guessing that later the Big Eagle burned too. It sounds like this may have been intentional.
to James i want to say first of all im sorry about your sister, i hope you get the answers that you and your family deserve and if that same gentleman is involved in this fire i hope he gets well deserved punishment, unfortunally it wont bring your sister back but it will bring some closure. about the big eagle burning thats sad to hear but good that no one was hurt in this fire THIS TIME
