CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man working on a piece of farm equipment Friday afternoon was pinned against a tree and died.

Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas says the man's neighbor discovered his body around 7 p.m. Friday along Barker's Ridge Road near Milton.

The man apparently was working on a large piece of equipment known as a "ditch witch" when it slipped over an embankment and pinned the man -- killing him.

Additional details were unavailable Friday night. We will provide you with more information here at WSAZ.com when it's released.

There's not a day in the summer I'm not driving down the road and see someone mowing half sideways on a hill and it scares the bejeebies out of me. I am so sorry for this man's family. So sad to have lived this long then die from a freak accident. You are in my prayers.
