Charleston Woman Dies in Ohio House Fire, Name Released
Authorities say a woman visiting from West Virginia has been killed in a house fire in northeast Ohio.

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a woman visiting from West Virginia has been killed in a house fire in northeast Ohio.
Investigator Gary Guenther with the Summit County medical examiner's office says 66-year-old Karen Williams of Charleston, W.Va., came to Akron to see friends and was staying in a home where fire broke out early Monday.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames and smoke and had to remove Williams from the house, where she'd become trapped.
She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy was scheduled for later on Monday.
Others who were inside the home were able to get out safely.

SORRY TO HERE ABOUT THE WOMAN THAT DIED IN THE HOUSE FIRE MAY GOD BE WITH HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. IN MY PRAYERS.

So sorry to hear about this woman's death. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. Folks, today would be a good time to check that smoke alarm (hopefully you have more than one) and the carbon monoxide alarm. If you don't have one, it may be the best purchase you'd make in a lifetime.
