CHARLESTON, W.V.a (WSAZ) -- The man who allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven on West Main Street in St. Albans then stole a car from the same location, has been arrested.

Keith Michael Harrison, 49, of Sissonville, was arrested Thursday afternoon in a joint effort by the Sheriff's Tactical Operations Patrol a.k.a. STOP Team, Kanawha Bureau of Investigation and Road Patrol Deputies.

While on patrol in the Sissonville area, the STOP Team conducted a traffic stop which lead to the identification of Keith Michael Harrison, 49, of Sissonville. Almost simultaneously KCSO Detectives and Road Patrol Deputies were showing photographs of various criminals to witnesses. Witnesses picked out Harrison as the suspect in both crimes and notified other police including the STOP Team who had Harrison on a traffic stop.

Harrison initially lied to deputies about his name before being truthful about his identity.

Harrison was charged with the Robbery of the Store Clerk of the 7-11 on July 14 and the Grand Larceny of the truck from the lot of the 7-11 on July 11.

Harrison allegedly assaulted the store clerk and also stole her money outside the store. As for the stolen truck, it was left parked on the lot with the keys in the ignition when the Harrison allegedly stole it.

It was found in the Sissonville area burned.
