SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia's Division of Natural Resources is encouraging hunters to familiarize themselves with several changes to the state's hunting regulations.
The agency says fall hunting seasons for wild turkey and black bear are outlined in the new 2010-11 hunting and trapping regulations summary. Also new are rules for youth hunting season.
The booklets are now available at license agents and DNR offices, including the agency's operations center in Elkins and headquarters in South Charleston.
Here is a list of changes for 2010 - 2011:
The summary also is available on the agency's Web site. Click here to visit the website.

Everyone should stop hunting and fishing for 5 years that would teach them think about the money the state would lose....
Perhaps a return to the "possum cop" identification would greatly enhance the professionalism of the agency.
I agree with jami. The west virginia D.N.R. SUCKS! I had a game warden try to write me a ticket for killing a grouse on opening day of grouse season one time. They are selling deer like cattle. You have to have a college education to understand the regulations. They absolutely SUCK!
