UPDATE: Person Killed In Crash Identified
Dispatchers say one person is dead after a car accident on State Route 93 in Lawrence County, Ohio.

UPDATE 7/26/10 @ 6:30 a.m..
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the identity of a woman killed in a two vehicle fatal crash.
According to a press release, a preliminary investigation revealed that a white Honda Civic driven by Kimberly A. Brubaker, 39, of 282 TR 208, Ironton, Ohio, was traveling south on SR 93 and drove left of center striking a north bound gray 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup truck driven by Tammy L. Mullens, 38, of 5201 Clinton Furnace Road, Pedro, Ohio.
Miranda D. Jospeh, 30, also of 5201 Clinton Furnace Road, was a passenger in the Mullens' vehicle. Mullens and Joseph were transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital with serious injuries.
Kimberly Brubaker was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lawrence County Coroner's Office. She was alone in her vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers in Lawrence County, Ohio tell WSAZ.com State Route 93 is back open to traffic.
The road was closed three miles outside of Ironton after an accident that killed one person and sent others in a helicopter to the hospital.
Names have not been released.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers say one person is dead after a car accident on State Route 93 in Lawrence County, Ohio.
The person's name has not been released.
Dispatchers say a "lengthy investigation" will be done following this accident.
A portion of State Route 93 near Ironton is still shut down, and Dispatchers ask traffic avoid this area.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A car accident in Lawrence County, Ohio has trapped multiple people.
Dispatchers say the accident happened on State Route 93, about three miles outside of Ironton.
A helicopter has arrived on scene to take patients to Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Dispatchers say they believe the road to be closed.

My heart goes out to the families of all 3 girls involved in this a horrible tragedy. Accidents happen every day and only the man upstairs know the reason why. And to those cruel people who want to point blame and make exuces. The speed limit has only 45 in the area of the accident, there is NO cell service, and the sheriff and state patrol travel st rt 93 constantly. I've traveled 93 every day for the last 9 yrs. I see law enforcement every day on the way to and from work. Yes, I've encountered many rude drivers on 93 but you have those anywhere you go. People need to stop being cruel and trying to start drama. It doesn't change a thing, only causes more hurt for the families involved.
My wife makes a daily commute from Athens to Ashland, traveling on Rt.93. She commonly encounter's other driver's traveling well below the speed limit. Her complaint is that when she tries to pass, the idiot that she is trying to pass speeds up to the point that she must reach speeds in excess of 80mph to get around them. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? If you are one of those people that feel you need to speed up to keep other's from passing, may you burn in hell. You are endangering the life of someone that I would die and kill for.
the woman who died was my sister in law she just moved here from maryland thank you for all the good heartfelt comments.she was a very loving and caring person to most she would be considered a sister in law to me she is my sister and i loved her like a sis.to the others involved in this awful accident and the family our prayers are with you.i love you sis.wish you were here with us now/Jeff and Tammy Miller.
