GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man facing a number of drug charges in Gallia County didn't show up to his jury trial this week, but was caught by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Phillip Lawson was supposed to be in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court on Monday. When he didn't show, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was picked up Wednesday by the U.S. Marshals Service in Franklin County, hiding in relative's house.
Lawson, originally from Columbus, moved to Gallipolis earlier this year. He and Natasha Waugh were arrested in July when crack cocaine was found in their home.
Lawson was indicted on 10 counts, including drug possession, drug trafficking and a count of receiving stolen property, for using a stolen debit card.
Lawson will be brought back to Gallia County and a trial will be rescheduled.
Waugh is expected to go to trial on February 17, if a plea agreement isn't made first.
Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning says, "Lawson's arrest demonstrates local law enforcements ability to track down and arrest drug dealers that come to the area for a short and flee the area after they have been charged."

I am surprised at all the people that really think its o.k to have kids and drugs in the same home, and call that decent parenting.. you really need some classes.
"Offices say they found drugs and cash in the residence" good parents don't have drugs in their home... birds of a feather flock together....tell me who you go with i'll tell you who you are...ever heard any of these sayings ?
People at times get in situations that come to them in a good way but ends up being bad but just because they have made a mistake which everyone does make some they shouldnt have there kids taken away no one knows there actual situation on that family and in gods eye everyone deserves a second chance in life.........................
