Woman Charged with Stealing Purse at Casino
A woman is charged with holding a woman at gunpoint and stealing her purse in the parking lot of the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman is charged with holding a woman at gunpoint and stealing her purse in the parking lot of the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort.
The alleged incident happened Tuesday morning. The victim told police she was waiting in her car while her husband went into the casino. She said a woman approached her car, showed a gun, and demanded her purse. When the woman left, the victim wrote down the license plate of the vehicle she was driving. Police later tracked down and arrested Ashli Burdette, 26, of Campbells Creek.
Police recovered the victim's purse.
