As a native of Scioto County, I feel it is my duty to tell you all about Art Gish. He was not just an environmentally-conscious organic farmer, he was not just a political activist, he was not just one of the strongest contemporary voices crying for peace in the Middle East and beyond; he was a prophet; he was a father; he was a friend. Please, if you care at all about the fate of humanity, inform yourself about this man and his wife Peggy and their work. Google him, YouTube him, call your friends in Athens and D.C. and Palestine and Iraq. His is a legacy and a purpose that MUST be carried on. And know this: the world will feel the passing of Art Gish, and we must cooperate to hold it together one more week.
