Manhunt for Stabbing Suspect Underway, Police Say Man is Armed and Dangerous
Police say they believe Reed is in the Ona area for a reason; they say is he travelling by foot. They consider him to be armed and very dangerous and ask that if you see him -- call 911, do not approach him.

ONA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are searching for a man in Ona they consider to be armed and dangerous.
Police say 29-year-old John Reed II stabbed his ex-girlfriend Melissa Taylor multiple times Thursday night near the Hangout Bar on Maywood Avenue in Clendenin. Taylor is in stable condition at CAMC.
West Virginia State Police say they yellow Chevy Cavalier Reed stole as a getaway car on the riverbank in Ona Friday night.
State Police believe Reed is still in the Ona area. WVSP Trooper Hash tells WSAZ.com every agency in the county is currently searching for him.
He was last seen wearing a blue faded shirt, blue jeans and work boots. Police say he still has a goatee.

CLENDENIN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for John Allen Reed II, 29, who they think stabbed Melissa Taylor Thursday night in Clendenin. The two had been in a prior relationship.
Taylor is in stable condition at CAMC.

CLENDENIN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman was stabbed Thursday night at a bar in northern Kanawha County.
Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com she was stabbed several times at the Hangout in Clendenin.
This all happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The woman was stabbed several times in the neck, back and stomach.
Dispatchers say police are looking for a man wearing a cowboy hat that was last seen leaving the bar in a yellow Chevy Cavalier with the name Melissa written across the back window.
