Another Meth Lab Discovered in Kanawha Valley, Arrest Made
A man wanted in Indiana is also facing charges in connection with a meth lab bust in Kanawha County.

CLENDENIN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man wanted in Indiana is also facing charges in connection with a meth lab bust in Kanawha County.

According to a news release, deputies responded to a camper trailer along Spring Field Drive in Campbells Creek to investigate a burglary when they found George Leo Layton, 59, with materials to make meth.

Deputies say they found numerous chemicals, equipment and materials used in the manufacture of meth. Deputies also tell WSAZ.com Layton is a fugitive from justice, wanted out of Indiana on a parole violation.

Layton was charged with fugitive from justice and operating a clandestine lab.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Another methamphetamine lab has been busted in the Kanawha Valley.

The latest latest one was found along Springfield Drive around 6 p.m. Monday. That's located just off Campbells Creek Road.

Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies say they received several calls that a meth lab was being operated at a small camper.

When they arrived, they found some ingredients to make meth. No arrests had been made in the case as of Monday night.
