Fire Destroys Cabell County Home
The fire was reported about11:30 Monday night at home in the 300 block of Overby Road.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- No one was hurt, but there were several close calls when fire departments responded to a fire in Cabell County.
The fire was reported about 11:30 Monday night at home in the 300 block of Overby Road.
According to dispatchers, the homeowner came home to find the house on fire.
Firefighters say the house was fully engulfed when they got to the scene.
There was also a large propane gas tank in the yard, and firefighters had to work hard to keep the tank from exploding.
To make matters worse, the hydrants in the area weren't close enough for the trucks to reach them, so a tanker truck had to be brought in to provide water.
The Green Valley Fire Department responded to the fire with help from the Ceredo and Lavalette Fire Departments.
No word on how the fire started.
