CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Here are the latest power outages after Sunday night's storm.

As of 7:15 a.m., AEP reports:

West Virginia:
-Roane County, 1,881
-Putnam County, 254
-Kanawha County, 445
-Lincoln County, 362
-Cabell County, 108
-Wayne County, 106
-Mingo County, 144



UPDATE @ 5:15 a.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thousands are waking up without power Monday after high winds blew through the region late Sunday night.

As of 5:15 a.m., these are the outages reported by AEP:

West Virginia:
-Roane County, 1,880
-Putnam County, 255
-Kanawha County, 488
-Lincoln County, 566
-Cabell County, 155
-Wayne County, 112
-Mingo County, 144

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thousands are waking up without power Monday after high winds blew through the region late Sunday night.

As of 4 a.m., these are the outages reported by AEP:

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Thousands of power outages have been reported after a strong storm swept through the region Sunday night.

As of 10:50 p.m. these are the outages reported by AEP:

West Virginia:
- Roane County, 1,880
- Putnam County, 1,759
-Jackson County, 245
-Kanawha County, 498
-Lincoln County, 378
-Cabell County, 188
-Wayne County, 446
-Mingo County, 240
-Mercer County, 177

Ohio:
Athens County, 512
Scioto County, 209
Lawrence County, 426
Pike County, 297

ORIGINAL STORY
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- AEP crews are preparing for potential power outages across the region.

AEP spokesperson Phil Moye says workers from Virginia and other areas of WV are on standby and could be shifted to damaged areas.

Moye says all line workers and local contractors are on alert and ready to move.

Regardless of how bad the storm is, crews are ready. Moye says they will try to make as many repairs as possible before daylight, but won't be able to assess complete damage until daylight.
