MARMET, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The policing of what police call a "trouble-spot" in the Eastern Kanawha County town of Marmet has one man in custody.
Officer D. Adams was patrolling the rural area early Thursday morning when s saw someone walk out from behind a bridge support.
As Officer Adams continued to look around he found a backpack with meth-making materials inside.
He also found a shake-and-bake style meth lab that was in the process of cooking.
Carl Bowlin, who was at the scene, was arrested and charged with operating a meth lab.
Bowlin, who is 46-years-old is behind bars in the South Central Regional Jail.
