Airmen Return Home from Afghanistan

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Members of the 130th Air Lift Wing came home Wednesday night from deployment in Afghanistan.

They were greeted at Yeager Airport by friends and family, along with members of the Patriot Guard.

The airmen were security forces deployed on the ground and were routinely in harm's way.

Their loved ones are just grateful they're home safe and sound.

The airmen will receive the Combat Action Medal for their deployment. They were in Afghanistan since this past May.
