Man Stabbed During Fight; Suspect Arrested

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Charleston is accused of stabbing another man with a pocket knife.

It happened about 11:30 p.m.Tuesday at 915 1st Avenue.

According to the criminal complaint, James William Martin, 56, was fighting with Jamie Morris.

Police say that's when Martin stabbed Morris with a pocket knife in the stomach.

Morris wasn't seriously hurt.

Martin is in the South Central Regional Jail. He's been charged with malicious wounding.
