ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ)-- A man is in custody following an attempt to rob a bank in Ohio.
Athens County Sheriff's Deputies say Carl Davis, 25, cut a hole through the ceiling in an unoccupied apartment over the Community Bank in Amesville.
Bank employees saw Davis crouched in a closet behind the teller's station and called for police. Davis then ran out of the bank and into the woods nearby.
A short time later Deputies tracked him down and placed him into custody. Davis is charged with attempted robbery.
Warrants have also been issued for a second suspect who's been identified as an accomplice.
