PORT O'CONNOR, Texas (WSAZ) -- An eastern Kentucky attorney who had been missing for four months has been found "alive and well."
Clyde Johnson, the city attorney in Martin, Kentucky, was reported missing in July.
His friend Ned Pillersdorf, also an attorney in the area, has been looking for Johnson since he went missing.
Pillersdorf tells WSAZ.com that Thursday, four months after his friend went missing, they got word from authorities in Texas that Johnson was found, "alive and well."
Law enforcement officials say when they found Pillersdorf, he confirmed who he was, and told them, "leave me alone."
Pillersdorf says investigators found him at a campground in Port O'Connor, Texas.
Officials say he has been staying at the campground since August.
Pillersdorf tells WSAZ.com that before he went to Texas, they were able to track that Johnson also stayed at a campground in Little Rock.
Pillersdorf says friends and family are not happy with how Johnson handled the situation, but say of all the possible outcomes, this is the best one and they are glad he is safe.

His friend Ned Pillersdorf says records from a cell phone Johnson was using show he is moving around the southwest, probably staying at campgrounds.
Pillersdorf says he believes Johnson is in Texas and that Johnson does not want to be found.
Johnson took his car, a camper, his dog and his Xbox video gaming system, according to Pillersdorf.
Pillersdorf has been appointed to run Johnson's law office.
Family and friends say Johnson went on a fishing trip.
