BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A miner in Boone County was killed in an early morning accident.
According to Public Information Specialist, Leslie Fitzwater, Johnny Mack Bryant II, 35, of Lenore, was killed in the accident about 4 a.m. at Coal River Mining LLC Fork Creek #10 Mine.
Bryant was a move crew employee. He had one year and 14 weeks experience at this mine.
Fitzwater says Bryant was crushed by a piece of machinery.
According to Public Information Specialist, Leslie Fitzwater, a move crew employee was killed Friday morning in an accident.
The accident happened about 4 a.m. at Coal River Mining LLC Fork Creek #10 Mine.
Fitzwater says a move crew employee died from "crushing injuries he received" at the mine.
The miner is 35 years old. The person has one year and 14 weeks experience at this mine.
